Matthew C. Onyett is an associate in the Business Services practice group of Best Best & Krieger LLP’s Riverside office, focusing on litigation.

Prior to joining BB&K, Matthew served a two-year clerkship with the Hon. J. Clay Fuller, of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Before that, he served as a law clerk for Superior Court Judge Jack Partain of the Georgia Superior Court.

Matthew received his law degree, magna cum laude, from The University of Georgia, School of Law where he was a member of the Georgia Law Review. During law school, he served as a judicial extern for Superior Court Judge H. Patrick Haggard and a research assistant for Associate Dean and Evidence Professor Erica Hashimoto.

Prior to law school, Matthew served as a policy assistant for Orange County Supervisor Pat Bates. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of California, Riverside, where he studied political science and history. Matthew is admitted to practice law in the states of California and Georgia.

Matthew grew up in Orange County and is an Eagle Scout. In his free time, Matthew enjoys watching Georgia football, as well as rooting for the Angels and 49ers.
